Tap Buddy was born out of necessity. A large project demanding hundreds of drilled and tapped holes sparked an engineer’s determination to make the process easier. The result? The first Tap Buddy prototype—a simple oil-filled container with brushes, designed to combine lubrication, bit cooling, and chip clearing into one seamless step. The prototype allowed the entire project to be completed with just one drill bit and one tap. After several iterations and extensive testing, Tap Buddy was perfected.

Now, Tap Buddy Tools is a small, passionate company committed to helping those who understand the value of working smarter, not harder.
